Zihan Zheng graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2023 he joined the Sun Ren lab at Westlake University as a PhD student.
His current research focus is on characterizing the functional impact of influenza viral mutations on host immune response.
In his free time Zihan enjoys reading and going hiking.
