Lai Wenjing graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Hong Kong. In 2021, she joined the Ren Sun Laboratory and began pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences.

Wenjing is currently conducting research on mutational screening of the influenza virus in the laboratory.

Outside of the lab, she enjoys breeding tropical plants in her garden, where she finds resonance between nurturing plant life and investigating microbial mysteries.
